Training Packages

Our training packages are credit-based meaning you can purchase a credit package and use them towards private training classes at your convenience. The credits have a ONE YEAR VALIDITY meaning you have an entire year to use them up and are not locked into a “6 week program”.

1 Credit = $30.00+gst

10 Credits = $275.00+gst

20 Credits = $450.00+gst

30 Credits = $630.00+gst

50 Credits = $1000.00+gst

How Training Credits Work:

Training credits work like a flexible punch card. Different services use different numbers of credits depending on the level of instruction provided.

Credits can be combined to build the training plan that works best for each dog and handler team.

Choosing the Right Training Investment:

20 Credits — High School Tuition (Most Popular)

Comparable to completing the core subjects needed for a well-trained companion dog.

30 Credits — College Tuition

Allows additional coaching and reinforcement for stronger reliability and more advanced training goals.

50 Credits — University Tuition

Typically required for teams pursuing Service Dog training or other specialty working roles.

10 Credits — Extension School / Upgrading

Used for refresher training, skill upgrading, or targeted behaviour support.

FREE Orientation

(2.5 hours, no dogs)

This is a free 2.5 hour orientation that allows you to become familiar with the training options, philosophy and foundation work offered at Canadian Canine Training. This is a pre-requisite to our training packages.

  • We introduce the foundation work and review environment management (home routines) that are recommended in order to get the best results from your investment of time & training- based on your dog’s breed, age, sex and behaviours.
  • You will meet the trainer, tour the facility and get a sense of which program is going to be best suited for your goals.
  • The entire family is welcome and encouraged to attend.
  • There will be Powerpoint, video & live demonstrations
  • A sample of the homework handouts and e-mailed video guides will be introduced.
  • Q & A time for general behaviour & training questions… specific behaviour concerns are reserved for your private sessions (so we don’t take up other people’s time.)
  • We will demonstrate many of the training tools and you will get a sense of our teaching techniques and results.
  • You may choose to register for your private sessions or group classes after attending the orientation evening.

There is no obligation or tuition for the evening.

4 credits

Private Training Class

50 minutes (1 hour time slot)

Private training classes will be your first step to teaching your dog obedience skills. One-on-one training with a qualified trainer allows you and your dog to be the primary focus for the entire class time, ensuring you leave your training class with confidence to follow through with your newly learned training techniques at home.

 

  • Classes are offered 7 days/week to ensure you can reserve your desired time.
  • Our private classes allow you to work at your leisure and schedule without committing to weekly classes.
  • Focuses primarily on your specific training goals
  • Prepares you and your dog for Group Class options
  • Can transfer back to a private session if you find group was too overwhelming or if you need help with a newly discovered concerns.
5 credits

Private Behavior Class

50 minutes (1 hour time slot)

Private behavior training classes are taught by a specialized trainer. These classes are recommended if your dog has shown signs of anxiety, fear, aggression, or any other concerning behavior.

 

  • Classes are offered 7 days/week to ensure you can reserve your desired time.
  • Scheduled with a Senior Trainer / Instructor who is qualified to work on resolving behavior concerns.
  • Veterinary Behaviour Referral cases.
  • Allows you to work at your leisure and schedule.
  • Focuses primarily on your specific BEHAVIOR CONCERNS and training goals.
  • Prepares you and your dog for Group Class options
  • Can transfer back to a private session if you find group was too overwhelming or if you need help with a newly discovered concerns.
2 credits

Group Class

50 minutes (1 hour time slot)

Group classes are offered to those wanting to enhance their dog’s obedience and listening skills while having the distraction of other dogs in the room. Pre-requisite: the minimum amount of private sessions (4) must be completed and approval from your trainer must be given to permit you to enter group class.

 

  • Maximum 8 dogs per class... all dogs already know basics as well.

  • Loose Leash walking (not heel)
  • Social skills (with people & dogs)
  • Distractions (dogs, toys, animals…)
  • Duration (stay) behaviours

  • Husbandry skills (accepting grooming, vet exams…)
  • Off Leash
  • Action commands (drop on recall, sit-in-motion…)
  • Hand Signals
  • Come from a distance!
  • Getting rid of equipment (no tools, treats, leash…)
  • Much, MUCH more!

Tricks & Tasks Tuesdays

Tuesday

7:30 P.M. – 8:30 P.M.

Tricks and Tasks Tuesdays is a skill-building group class designed to strengthen your dog’s focus, engagement, and problem-solving abilities while learning fun and practical new behaviours. This session focuses on trick training, task foundations, targeting skills, and engagement exercises that help improve communication and teamwork between you and your dog. Dogs will practice these skills in a structured group environment with the added distraction of other dogs, helping build reliability and confidence.

Pre-requisite: the minimum amount of private sessions (4) must be completed and approval from your trainer must be given to permit you to enter this class.

    Walking Wednesdays

    Wednesday

    7:30 P.M. – 8:30 P.M.

    Walking Wednesdays is a skill-building group class designed to improve your dog’s leash manners and confidence during real-world outings. This session focuses on developing reliable leash skills, strengthening handler awareness, and learning how to calmly navigate everyday distractions such as people, dogs, and busy environments. Dogs and handlers will work together in a structured setting that helps reinforce good habits and build confidence while walking around other dogs.

    Pre-requisite: the minimum amount of private sessions (4) must be completed and approval from your trainer must be given to permit you to enter this class.

    Therapy Thursdays

    Thursday

    7:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M.

    Therapy Thursdays is an extended group training session designed for dogs working toward therapy dog preparation or building structured service dog training hours. These sessions focus on developing the skills, confidence, and reliability needed for dogs to work calmly and appropriately in public and supportive environments.

    Therapy Thursday Structure

    Therapy Thursdays follow a rotating monthly module structure, with each week introducing a different training module that contributes toward Therapy Dog preparation and Service Dog training hours. During months with a fifth Thursday, special training topics or unique skill-building opportunities may be featured.

     Pre-requisite: the minimum amount of private sessions (4) must be completed and approval from your trainer must be given to permit you to enter this class.

    Credit Card, Apple Pay & PayPal available using the payment processor below.

    Using e-transfer helps reduce processing expenses so more resources go directly toward supporting dogs and handlers in training.

    Cancellation and No-Show Policy

    • 24 hour CONFIRMED NOTICE must be given to avoid application of full credits.
    • “CANCELLED SAME DAY”: with confirmed notice, deduction of only 2 credits towards the reservation times.
    • “NO SHOWS” for reserved appointments will have full credits applied.
    • “CONFIRMED NOTICE” MEANS: You have corresponded with the office regarding your cancellation and it has been confirmed with a REPLY or documented through e-mail dates… although we appreciate the convenience of voice-mail, we cannot guarantee that receipt of your notice has occurred, unless you hear back from our office. We appreciate your understanding, and efforts to keep the high demand of reservations times available for other clients to have access when available.
